FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Material & Processing

1. What aluminum materials do you commonly use?
We primarily use various aluminum alloys, including 6000 series (e.g., 6061, 6063), 5000 series (e.g., 5052), die-cast aluminum, and aluminum plates.
2. What machining processes do you offer?
We offer CNC milling, NCT punching, traditional stamping, and other aluminum processing services based on your requirements.
3. What surface treatments are available?
Common surface finishes include sandblasting, painting, electroplating, and hairline finish. We can also provide other treatments as requested.
4. What file formats do you accept for quotation?
Please provide 3D files (.stp) or 2D drawings (.dwg) for accurate process evaluation and quotation.
5. What is your standard lead time?
Tooling usually takes 4–6 weeks. After tooling is completed, production generally takes another 2 weeks depending on part complexity.
6. Do you accept low-volume orders?
Yes, we provide customized services and accept small-batch production or prototype requests.
7. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We don’t have a fixed MOQ. We are flexible and support small-volume customized production.
8. What is your general custom process?
Submit drawings → Quotation → Sample/Tooling (if needed) → Mass Production → Delivery.
9. When is tooling required?
Tooling may be required depending on the structure. We will specify this during quotation.
10. Can you apply multiple surface finishes on one part?
Yes, for example, hairline finish followed by painting, or sandblasting followed by plating can be done as requested.

Size & Capability

1. Do you have size limitations for machining?
Our maximum machining capacity is approximately 870mm x 510mm x 420mm. Please provide drawings for evaluation.
2. Can you handle large aluminum parts?
Size limitations depend on our equipment and part design. Please send us your drawings for review.
3. What is the difference between stamping and CNC machining?
Stamping is suitable for high-volume, simple shapes. CNC machining is ideal for complex, precise, or low-volume parts.

Surface & Application

1. Do you offer anodizing?
Yes, anodizing is a common protective and decorative surface treatment for aluminum. Custom colors are available.
2. Do you manufacture heat sinks or thermal bases?
Yes, we have extensive experience producing aluminum components for thermal modules, industrial computers, and optical cooling.
3. Are there burrs after aluminum machining? How do you handle them?
Minor burrs may occur. We perform deburring using machines or manual processes to ensure quality.
4. What industries do you serve?
We serve automotive, industrial computers, medical devices, thermal modules, and optical cooling sectors.
5. Can you assist with design and machining integration?
Yes, we offer manufacturability evaluation during the design stage to reduce cost and complexity.
